“If we must constantly hurry to get everything done, then we are doing too much.”
I’ve got five words for ya.
ONE DAY AT A TIME
Working in the Media, though followed by all the glitz and glamour strengthened by mutual-beneficial relationships (or connections) and prone to high quality exposures, is one heck of a business. With the experience I’m gaining now in my life as a somewhat Media Practitioner, I’m all the more learning that it’s a tiring job. The catch though is that it is more fulfilling than it was as a negative job for an employee.
This is why it is very important to live by the above-mentioned five words.
Today has been called several names – A get-away, Cheat Day, A Day to Unwind, Refresher (and the list goes on). But whatever we might have called it, the only sure thing I know is that this day is certainly unforgettable.
We have finally made it. So many weeks of planning to get away from all the deadlines, calls and proposals, here we are finally getting the plan through. My fellows and Marz, Monique, Vince, Gab and Bea capped the night like no other capping we’ve ever done.
First up, Today X Future: Where the awesome-st Buffalo Wings and Pizzas are served. YUM!
The bond mostly consisted of hilarious Q&A’s (thanks to Marz’s epic cue cards that contained the most sensible questions on Earth – who brings that to a hopefully restful date night?? LOL) which we all tried to answer “intellectually” without getting even more swirly in the head. LOL!
And where the new culture evolved – “Where there’s Milk Shake, there’s Kwentos” – Sweet Ecstacy at Cubao Expo. Don’t we all deserve a sugary sweet reward from all the hard work? 😀
Where the steamiest, juiciest, most embarrassing and heart-stopping stories where named (or narrated, I guess?)
Here’s a video Marz made in memory of the night that was 🙂 Pwede nang TVC-Teaser ng Today X Future!
If I’ll be obliged to work twice as hard as I did, twice as many as I produced, twice as great as it I performed, only to come back to these two “Heavenly Places” for a breather, I say bring it on! Haha!
You should totally try these restos on your next Barkada Night! Both may be found just around the Araneta Center at Cubao, Quezon City.
