“You don’t have to be perfect for God to use you. Take the hand you’ve been dealt and make the most of it.”
– Joel Osteen
I have always known there are lives made accountable to me by God. I’m very thankful about this. More than the very fulfilling responsibility to “mother” young men or women, I should say that it is the most wonderful feeling and decision made to help these kids have a better knowledge of who they are, who they are in Christ and who Jesus is Himself.
September last year, I was privileged to be approved to conduct a Life Group in a school nearby my place while I am waiting to get in a job I want. And surely, I have shared such wonderful times with the kids of Juan Sumulong High School, section III-Zamora.
Today, I took a leave of absence to have my check up and physical therapy. After this, I went to visit my babies with Pearl Domingo in JSHS to delegate them to her care (I would have the least time because of my work schedule). Thankfully, I have a spiritual sister who have been blessed with much, much time! 😀
It was very light and fun. Mostly Q&A’s between us to them, them to us, them to Pearl. We just mostly bonded with Goldilocks Bitbit cakes (Haha). A short Word and Prayer and we all just shared stories and interests. Pearl was delighted to have figured out their kiliti (which is UAAP Basketball Players – Pearly is a sporty) and they shared so much like they were instantly best friends. Truly, the Lord has gone before us.
My prayer goes to my JSHS Life Group:
“May you all the more grow in faith, strength, love and everything Jesus-centered. Do not be afraid to get out of your comfort zones and let God use you… change you… because God can do enormous things in your life, bigger than you think He’s already done, bigger than what you dreamt and asked. Simply because He is the Father, and He loves you so much, He is ready to bless you to the bone! 🙂 I am now putting you in your Ate Pearl’s care as God had willed. You will understand even greater truths about God with her, all for the glory of God!
I love you all, and till we meet again!”
