Inspiring Lives One Journey a Day

February 15 – Post-Event

Well, one thing for sure I hated yesterday during the so-called Heart’s Day is definitely not the couples being all smoochy and cuddly (I mean, I hate this very much as well but it’s not what pissed me off), definitely not the rose, teddy bears, and chocolate vendors, and absolutely not the fully-booked restaurants (as I would have had a date). It’s the freaking traffic.

I’m a commuter, and worse, an employee with a day-to-day schedule of 9AM to 7PM. 7PM in employee culture is an affirmative rush hour for going home and I can testify to how harsh the rush hours are in our place at Makati. The Valentine’s fever just made it worse. Really.

I’m not angry about it though. Just want to get that out to Heart’s Day enthusiasts. Ay naku kayo ha.

Well, one good thing this phenomenon gave me was… DUN-DUN-DUN! Very light traffic on February 15th! WOW! I usually travel to work for a period of one and 45 minutes to two hours but today it took me only one hour and 15! Now, I can’t stop thanking God for letting the Heart’s Day be!

Belated Happy Heart’s Day, friends! Hahaha!
