You’re absolutely a Filipino if you call thrift shopping, “Ukay” or bargain-shopping, “Tiangge”.
I’ve been meaning to go to a tiangge- or ukay-shopping since the Pre-Vday. It’s just that I get so tired physically on my way home but I honestly have at least little time to spare. Before I headed home today, I thankfully spared myself a little strength to drop by a thrift store strategically placed near my jeepney stop. I’m just so happy to have gotten some good deals!
Of course, as you may have probably noticed now, I’m posting my entries weeks late. This is why today, I am able to show you pictures of my get-ups in the next three days – get-ups I bought from thrift shopping for a humble fee of… well… let’s just say it’s with a very low low price. 😉
Work Day outfit for February 21. Thanks to my good friend, Bea, for taking a shot of my OOTD. I thrift shopped my cool Korean-y top and paired it with my Fila leggings and studded chucks.
My go-to get-up says, “Believe morality of the Spirit.” Wore this when I covered/facilitated in the Manila Food and Wine Festival event at Mall of Asia Open Grounds last February 22. 🙂
Got this from my cell leader’s Instagram. I wore my Peter-Pan-collared chiffon fabric top for Sunday Church-day last February 24. Sorry I couldn’t give you a full shot of the clothing but it’s really pretty cute.
I’m hoping to get back at a new thrift store some time this March that give me this kind of shopping-happy, gotten-a-great-deal-out-of-it feeling! HA!
